A big Hello and welcome to Verwood Carnival 2005

Here we are – It's Carnival time again ! On behalf of myself and the Carnival Committee, may I offer you a very warm welcome. We're looking forward to another successful, fun-filled day at our usual venue – the “Fuzzy Bit”, just off Crane Drive. Here's hoping the weather will be much kinder to us this year, as last year's main attraction had to be cancelled at the last minute for safety reasons due to low cloud cover and rain.

This year's procession starts at the new time of 12 mid-day, and follows a slightly different route. This is followed by an exciting afternoon with Belly Dancers, the famous Bournemouth Carnival Band, marching bands and spectacular Stunt Displays. Along with sideshows and the funfair, there's something for everyone.

The gates are open from 11 AM on Bank Holiday Monday - May 30th 2005
